TrafficGauge receives its traffic flow data via partnerships with public agencies and private companies that use wire loop, radar, or toll tag sensors to measure traffic speeds. TrafficGauge processes traffic flow data from these sources, dynamically selecting the best available data. Traffic data is then delivered over a wireless network to mobile traffic maps and over the internet to computer desktops.

TrafficGauge for PC is a free application that provides a convenient at-a-glance traffic map of a regionÕs freeway grid.
